If you are dropping off or picking up your child using the car rider line, please enter onto Matt Waller Dr. from Highway 10. Cars waiting to turn across traffic to enter the parking lot will be redirected to the Northbound lane.
SUNRISE ELEMENTARY Morning Drop-Off/Afternoon Pick-Up
For the safety of all of our students, please remain in your vehicle when using the car rider line for drop off and pick up. Students should not be dropped off from a parking space and asked to walk across the car rider line.

Re: Excessive Heat Warnings
Spartan Families: We are excited to welcome students back to school this week! As you may know, we are under a heat advisory that will be effective for the duration of the first week of school. Due to excessive heat, we will have early dismissal each day this week (12:55).
We will take every precaution to ensure our students and staff are safe. We have safeguards in place to adjust our plans as needed for outdoor time, athletic practices, recess, and other activities. We could use your help to ensure students stay hydrated this week. Please send your child with a clear, refillable water bottle for the school day. Students that ride the bus will be provided time to fill their water bottles before afternoon bus rides. We will ensure students involved in athletic practices are provided with adequate water and heat breaks.
