Reminder! Students who signed up to take the ACT, please be at the high school tomorrow (3/12/24) by 7:30 a.m. and no later than 7:45 for check-in. Get a good night's sleep tonight, eat a good breakfast beforehand, and don’t forget to bring your I.D. and approved calculator. Richmond R-XVI School District WILL BE in session on Wednesday, February 14th! Last time we won the Super Bowl we had called school off, however with this year’s snow days, we want to be very deliberate with our instructional minutes.

Reminder! The FAFSA Frenzy is tonight at the high school from 5-7 pm. Make sure to have an FSA ID if you plan to attend.
Attention Preschool families:
Now that the construction fencing has gone up, a few changes to the traffic flow will be noticed. Buses will now be entering the side parking lot on the temporary gravel drive. This will accommodate a wider curve for the bus turn which is necessary since a large portion of the lot is now behind fencing. This means that parking will be limited during construction. Staff that is able will be parking on the east end of the playground to allow for more open parking spots on the side lot.
Preschool pick up for all classes will still be at door 9 in the west parking lot. However, parents will only be able to enter the parking lot from Main street and will need to park in the paved lot since the gravel lot is now behind construction fencing. With limited parking available, we are requesting that preschool parents time their arrival for after buses have loaded and departed. Parents and students are not permitted to walk between buses. Following the departure of the buses, parents may then exit their vehicles and line up on the ramp to collect their preschool students.
All other car rider routines should continue as normal.

RHS Parents/Guardians: 1st semester grades have been finalized. You may view these grades on PowerSchool. If you would like a hard copy, please contact the high school office.
Just a reminder, there is a Class of 2025 Parent Meeting - TONIGHT - Monday, January 29th at 7pm in the HS Library.
Parents: We will be attempting to resume our normal bus routes starting Friday, January 26. This will include surface and gravel roads.
On Thursday , January 25, 2024, students that live on gravel bus routes will be picked up and returned at pre-designated asphalt stops due to icy road conditions. If you are unable to make it to the designated bus stop, please contact your child's school office tomorrow morning.
