The Richmond R-XVI School District is excited to announce a K-12 one-to-one technology initiative to begin for the 2020-2021 school year. All students in grades K-12 will be receiving a device. Incoming superintendent Greg Darling and the administrative team prepared and presented the proposal to the Board of Education at the May school board meeting. We would like to thank the Board of Education for acting swiftly and accepting the proposal.
The COVID-19 pandemic has presented many challenges this semester. The one-to-one initiative will be a valuable tool to help our District overcome the challenges the pandemic presented and positively impact the education of all of our students as we prepare for the future. The District staff will be working hard over the next several weeks to prepare and work out important details to implement the one-to-one technology initiative.
